The Laugo Arms Alien represents a radical departure from conventional handgun design. Developed by Laugo Arms in collaboration with Lancer Systems, the Alien was engineered to solve one of the longest-standing challenges in pistol performance: recoil management and sight tracking. Introduced in the early 2020s, the Alien combines a fixed barrel, gas-delayed operating system, and non-reciprocating sight rail to deliver an exceptionally flat-shooting and visually stable shooting experience.

Sights / Optics
The pistol is equipped with an interchangeable, non-reciprocating fixed top rail that carries the sighting system. The front sight is a serrated blade with a red fiber-optic insert, screwed directly to the interchangeable top strap. The rear sight is a fully adjustable, serrated square-notch sight dovetailed into the rail. Because the rail does not reciprocate during firing, sight picture disturbance is minimized.
Grip Configuration & Condition
The grips are two-piece G-10 panels with dimpled texturing. The frontstrap and removable backstrap insert are checkered, while the surrounding surfaces are serrated for additional control. The grips show no notable wear. Overall grip condition: Excellent.

Our Assessment
For more than a century, the Browning tilting-barrel system has dominated handgun design. Laugo Arms deliberately rejected that convention and engineered the Alien around a fixed barrel and gas-delayed system conceptually similar to the HK P7, but inverted and modernized. The result is the lowest bore axis ever achieved in a production handgun, with the bore axis sitting below the grip axis and nearly in line with the shooter’s hand.
Unlike many modern pistols, the Alien is not striker-fired. It uses an internal single-action hammer housed within the removable top rail, a design choice that contributes to both the low bore axis and an exceptionally clean trigger pull. Combined with the non-reciprocating sight rail, recoil impulse is remarkably flat and sight tracking is effortless compared to traditional designs.
This example remains in Excellent condition and is complete with its original case and accessories. The Alien stands apart in a market crowded with conventional polymer striker pistols and represents one of the most innovative handgun designs of the modern era. It is equally at home as a high-end range pistol, competition platform, or centerpiece of a modern firearms collection.
