The pistol is not equipped with iron sights. It features the factory Limited optics rail fitted with a Trijicon SRO red dot optic. One of the Alien’s defining characteristics is its non reciprocating top rail, allowing the optic to remain stationary while the slide cycles beneath it.

Few pistols have generated as much excitement among competitive shooters as the Laugo Arms Alien. Designed by Jan Lučanský, best known for his work on the CZ Scorpion EVO 3, the Alien represents a complete departure from the Browning tilting barrel system that has dominated semi automatic pistol design for well over a century.
Instead of allowing the barrel to tilt during cycling, the Alien utilizes a fixed barrel with a gas delayed blowback operating system. This architecture allows the bore axis to sit approximately 1.7 millimeters below the shooter’s grip axis, making it one of the lowest bore axis pistols ever placed into production. The result is extraordinarily flat recoil, minimal muzzle rise, and incredibly fast sight recovery between shots.
Equally innovative is the pistol’s internal hammer system. Although often mistaken for a striker fired design due to its sleek appearance, the Alien is actually a true single action hammer fired pistol. The hammer and sear assembly are housed within the removable upper rail, creating an exceptionally crisp trigger while allowing the reciprocating slide to remain extremely low in the frame. Because the optic is mounted to the fixed upper receiver rather than the moving slide, the Trijicon SRO remains perfectly stationary during firing, making dot tracking exceptionally easy during rapid strings of fire.
