The Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon V represents one of the finest examples of Beretta’s legendary over under shotgun craftsmanship. Combining elegant game scene engraving, a color case hardened receiver, premium walnut furniture, and proven field performance, the Silver Pigeon V has earned a reputation as a versatile shotgun equally suited for upland hunting, sporting clays, skeet, and trap. This 20 gauge example, manufactured in 2007, remains in Excellent condition and includes its factory Beretta hard case, additional choke tubes, and accessories.

Sights / Optics
The shotgun is equipped with a steel front bead mounted at the muzzle. The ventilated rib is finely checkered to reduce glare and provide a clean sight picture in varying lighting conditions.
Stock Configuration & Condition
The shotgun is fitted with two piece walnut furniture featuring a finger grooved checkered forend, checkered flat bottom pistol grip, straight comb, and factory Beretta black rubber recoil pad. A Beretta Gel Tek recoil pad is also included but not installed.
There is a blank initial plate on the belly of the stock. Minor handling and storage marks are present, including a small nick on the upper left side of the wrist and a couple of faint marks on the comb. The checkering remains sharp with no chips or cracks.
Length of pull measures approximately 14 1/2 inches. Drop at comb is approximately 1 5/8 inches and drop at heel approximately 2 3/8 inches. Cast is approximately neutral.

This shotgun retains approximately 98 percent of its original finish. There are minor handling marks, a few light draglines on the left side of the upper barrel, and faint rub marks where the barrels contact the forend. Screw heads remain sharp and markings are crisp.
Overall condition: Excellent.
Bore & Mechanics
Bore Condition: Both bores are bright with no erosion. In the original evaluator’s opinion, the bores rate 10 out of 10.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, including the selective ejectors. The shotgun locks up tightly with no play between the barrels and receiver. It was not test fired. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be desired before use.
