This pistol retains approximately 98% of its nickel finish. There are a few light nicks and faint lines on the slide, along with minor handling and operational wear. Markings remain crisp and clear, and screw heads are sharp. Overall condition: Fine to Excellent.

Bore & Mechanics

Bore Condition: Bright with sharp rifling and a few faint freckles of erosion near the muzzle. Rated 9/10.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The P7M10 uses Heckler & Koch’s gas-delayed blowback system with a frontstrap squeeze-cocking lever, allowing the pistol to be carried safely with a loaded chamber and cocked instantly when gripped. Slide-to-frame fit is tight. The pistol has not been test-fired. Cleaning is recommended to meet individual maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Included are four 10-round magazines, two manuals, cleaning tools, and a non-matching HK box.

Our Assessment

The P7 series was developed in response to West Germany’s post–Munich Olympics requirement for a modern, safe, and immediately deployable service pistol. The result was one of the most innovative handgun designs ever adopted for police and military use. The squeeze-cocking system allows the pistol to remain inert until intentionally gripped, while delivering a short, consistent trigger pull once cocked.

Originally introduced in 9mm as the PSP and later refined into the P7M8 and double-stack P7M13, the design was ultimately reinforced to handle the .40 S&W cartridge with the introduction of the P7M10 in 1991. Production of the P7M10 was limited, lasting only a few years, making it the rarest of the major P7 variants.

This 1992 example remains in excellent condition with strong finish, a bright bore, and complete accessories. With its all-steel construction, advanced gas-delayed system, and iconic squeeze-cocking mechanism, the P7M10 stands as both a pinnacle of German engineering and a true collector-grade modern handgun.
