The KRISS Sphinx 3010 Standard is a premium Swiss designed semi automatic pistol derived from the highly respected Sphinx 3000 series, itself an advanced refinement of the CZ 75 platform. Chambered in .45 ACP and built with machined steel components, the 3010 combines precision manufacturing, refined ergonomics, and exceptional mechanical accuracy into a rare high end pistol platform. This circa 2016 example remains in Fine Plus to Excellent condition and includes three magazines.

Sights / Optics

The front sight is a fore to aft dovetailed blade. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch sight dovetailed to the slide. The adjustable rear sight setup allows for precise tuning and complements the pistol’s competition and target oriented design.

Stock / Grip Configuration & Condition

The grips are two piece checkered black aluminum panels with vertically serrated finger grooves on the front strap. The grips show light handling marks along with some scuffs and mild finish thinning toward the front portions of the panels. Overall grip condition: Fine Plus to Excellent.

Finish & Overall Condition

This pistol retains approximately 97 percent of its original finish. There are light handling and storage marks along with a few draglines on the frame. Minor operational wear is present. The markings remain strong and easily legible while the pinheads remain unmarred. Overall condition: Fine Plus to Excellent.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion. Rated 10 out of 10.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be desired before use.

Our Assessment

The KRISS Sphinx 3010 Standard represents one of the more refined interpretations of the CZ 75 design ever brought to market. Manufactured with Swiss precision and fitted with machined steel components throughout, these pistols earned a reputation for exceptional fit, smooth operation, and outstanding accuracy. The all metal construction adds substantial weight, helping tame recoil in the .45 ACP chambering while providing excellent balance and stability during rapid fire.

Unlike many mass produced service pistols, the Sphinx line focused heavily on precision fitting and premium materials. The single action trigger on the 3010 offers a crisp break well suited for target shooting and competition use, while the low bore axis and ergonomic grip contours contribute to excellent control and repeatability.

Production numbers for these pistols were always relatively limited, and with Sphinx Systems ceasing operations in 2016, surviving examples have become increasingly difficult to locate, especially in .45 ACP. This example remains in Fine Plus to Excellent condition with a bright bore, strong mechanics, and only light cosmetic wear from handling and storage. Complete with three magazines, it represents an increasingly collectible modern Swiss pistol that blends competition performance with rarity and craftsmanship.
